“网络上层”的地位获得机制研究

摘 要

随着互联网的普及与发展，网络逐渐成为人们交流与互动的另一主要场所。网络社会的特性是平等与开放，但其中也存在着许多不平等现象。网络社会分层现象一般存在于以兴趣和价值观为基础而形成的网络群体中，那些在网络群体聚集地中占据了一定地位的人就是“网络上层”，比如贴吧吧主、论坛版主、微博主页管理员等。本研究从花样滑冰圈和东方神起粉丝圈这两个网络群体中选取了10个“网络上层”作为研究对象，使用定性研究的方法考察他们的地位获得机制，以此来探讨网络社会分层的动态过程。对应于现实社会中的地位获得研究主要关注先赋性因素、自致性因素和社会资本的影响，本研究认为现实资源、网络努力和社会网络是影响网络地位获得的主要因素。通过深入访谈与观察，得出了网络努力、现实资源和社会网络这三个影响因素其实是三种提供信息的方式，而这些信息又通过直接获得、关系获得、选举获得和招募获得这四种网络地位获得的形式，来对网络地位获得产生作用，从而构造了网络社会分层结构。

The research of the mechanism of status attainment of "upper stratum in network"

Abstract

With the development and popularization of Internet, network society gradually becomes another major space where people interact and communicate with each other. Equality and openness are assumed as the important characteristics of network society, but there are still many unequal phenomena. The social stratification in network generally exists in the network groups based on interests and values, and those who occupy a certain status in communities of network groups are "upper stratum in network", such as administrators of tieba, BBS moderators, and administrators of weibo and so on. This research selected 10 subjects who are "upper stratum in network" from two network groups, in particular, the group of figure skating and the group of TVXQ fans. Using the qualitative method to investigate the mechanism of status attainment of "upper stratum in network", this paper explored the dynamic process of social stratification in network. The research of status attainment in real society focuses on the influence of ascribed factors, achieved factors and social capital. Correspondingly, this research proposed three factors, including realistic resources, network effort and social network, as the main factors to influence the status attainment in network society. With in-depth interviews and observations, this paper concluded that realistic resources, network effort and social network are three primary means to provide information that affects the status attainment in network society through four approaches: direct acquisition, relationship, election and recruitment, and thus constructs the hierarchical structure of network society.
