摘 要
本文给出一个确定性模型,其需求是确定的,将航运公司运输集装箱方面的所有成本之和作为目标函数,在一个时间拓展网络里用流平衡条件对各种集装箱数量进行约束。最后,通过对模型求解给出对各种集装箱的合理配置,降低航运公司在集装箱调配方面的成本。

A Study on the Deployment of Containers

Abstract: With the development of economics and the fast improvement of international trades, the tank containers are used in multi-commodity trades more and more extensively as they are pretty good in multimode transport. But the imbalance of trade flows between countries and regions make it a big challenge for liner companies to reposition the empty containers to the appropriate ports with the suitable amount at right time. This also becomes an important component in total operating cost. In this article, we create a deterministic model to solve this problem. Also, we introduce a new kind of containers to this model, the foldable container. The size of a foldable container can be folded to one of forth of a standard container, or even one of fifth of it. In this article, we use the quarter one. The request in the model is determined, and the model uses the time-expanded network to control the container flow. Then, in this thesis, the IBM ILOG CPLEX is used to deal with the model. At last, we give the advice about how to allocate the containers to help the liner companies reduce the total operating cost on deployment of containers.
