用于LED照明应用的道路驾驶模拟平台评价

摘 要

LED光源相对于传统光源,具有寿命长、光效高、环保节能等特点,正逐渐成为照明市场的新宠,但在道路照明应用中还存在路面照度不均、眩光等问题。为此,需要对LED照明在道路照明中的应用进行改善和优化。鉴于在真实环境中封闭实验会造成交通、安全、以及成本高、耗时长等问题,也很难进行人为设置,在真实环境中实验不可行。本课题在实验室搭建了模拟驾驶平台,希望通过在虚拟现实的环境中,对现实驾驶环境进行模拟,并设计了对模拟平台进行评价的问卷,问卷内容涉及临场感、沉浸感、场景真实感以及包括舒适度在内的其它多项综合评价。通过视觉感知实验以及对实验结果进行统计学分析,主要研究了模拟驾驶场景视频的两种LED路灯色温(CCT)和投影式、头戴式两种显示方式对于问卷中各个评价项目的影响。实验和分析结果表明,显示方式对“舒适度”具有统计学意义上的显著影响,对于其他评价项目无显著影响;CCT对于各评价项目均无显著影响;该驾驶模拟平台在“临场感”、“真实感”等方面表现优秀,总体被认为是可接受的。课题通过评价虚拟环境,可以了解虚拟环境中存在与真实环境不一致的地方,从而改进虚拟环境,最终使虚拟环境代替真实环境,为进一步虚拟现实的研究或优化现实环境中LED路灯规划与设计提供帮助。

Evaluation of the road driving simulation platform used in LED lighting applications

Abstract

Compared with the traditional light source, LED light source has many lighting characteristics such as long service life, high light efficiency, environmental protection, energy saving, which becoming a new favorite in lighting market .There are still some problems such as uneven illumination, glare when LED lighting used in road lighting. Therefore, we need to improve and optimize LED lighting application in road lighting. In view of the closed experiment in real environment may cause many problems in traffic, security and moreover, is high cost, Time consuming, and it’s hard to set, hence the experiment is not workable. This project has set up a platform of driving simulation in the laboratory, hoping to simulate real driving conditions through the virtual reality environment, and designed a questionnaire to evaluate the feasibility of simulated platform, which includes presence, involvement, realness and other items such as subjective comfort. Through the virtual visual perception experiment, and do statistical analysis to the results of the experiment, we mainly studied the influence of items in questionnaire caused by two different CCT of LED lighting in driving simulation scene video and two different display modes including the projection, head-mounted display. The experimental results show statistically significant influence between two display modes on “comfort”, no significant influence on other items; meanwhile, the results show no significant difference between two videos with different CCT of the road light on all items. The simulated driving scene performed well in realness, presence and other aspects relevant to the rating items, which  is considered to be acceptable as a whole. Through the evaluation of the virtual environment, we can study how the virtual environment consistent with the real environment and improve it to take place of real environment ultimately, offering help for the further research of virtual reality or optimizing LED lights planning and design in real environment.
