摘 要
南京市作为长三角的特大城市之一，面积巨大人口众多，城市基础设施密集。随着经济的发展，民众的医疗需求不断增长，医疗机构却因资源分布不均而效率低下。专题地图集是各种专题信息的有机综合体，可以更深刻地表现某一专题要素或现象。此时，研究南京市医疗机构图册的设计与制作方法，编制出实用的专题地图集，能够帮助使用者了解南京市整体情况，详细掌握南京市医疗机构的各种信息。图册在方便用户生活和工作的同时，还能对患者的就医进行疏导，具有指导作用。
本文以南京市医疗机构图册为研究案例，探讨了专题地图集的设计方法，分析了各地图要素的设计规则，提出了图册的详细设计方案。然后根据专题地图集的一般制作流程，研究了利用ArcGIS制作专题地图集的方法，完成了包括南京市交通图、南京市医疗机构分布图和南京市医疗机构统计图在内的多幅样图的制作，验证了设计方法研究成果的科学性和制作方法研究成果的实用性。地图集样图专题内容清晰、丰富，具有一定的实际意义，保证地图集的整体性和系统性得到全面的体现。最后，进行基于ArcGIS Engine，在Visual Studio 2010平台使用C#编程语言进行二次开发，完成对图册的设计与制作样图工作，实现其基本功能。

Abstract
As one of the megacities in the Yangtze River Delta, Nanjing has a huge populationand large area and a dense urban infrastructure. With the development of the economy, people’s medical needs have continued to increase. However medical institutions are inefficient because of uneven distribution of resources.Thematicatlas is an organic synthesis of all kinds of thematic information, which can express a particular feature or phenomenon more profoundly. At this time, having a research on The Design and Production Methods of the Nanjing Medical Institution Atlas and making a practical thematic atlascan help users tounderstand the overall situation of Nanjing and master various information of medical institutions in Nanjing.TheAtlas provides conveniences to users intheir daily live and work as well as guides patients to proper medical behavior.
This paper takes theNanjing Medical Institution Atlas as research case. It discusses the design method of thematic atlas, analyzes the design rules of each map element, and proposes the detailed design plan of the Atlas.Then according to the general production process of thematic atlas, the method of making thematic atlas by ArcGIS is studied.The production of many samples including Nanjing Traffic Map, The Distribution Map of Nanjing Medical Institutions and The Statistical Map of Nanjing Medical Institutions are completed. It verified the scientific nature of the research results of the design method and the practicability of the research results of the map making method.Thesamples of atlas have a content of clear and rich.They have certain practical significance and ensure the integrity and systematicnessis fully reflected.Finally, based on ArcGIS Engine, the C# programming language was used for redevelopment on the Visual Studio 2010 platformandthedesignandproduction of the atlas with basic functions was completed.
