SAE Baja Car 赛车轴毂和制动器设计毕业论文

摘 要

SAE巴哈赛车系列赛是由汽车工程师协会负责举办的一项学生方程式赛车比赛,要求每个团队在一年的时间内制造出一辆在加速、刹车、操控性方面有优异的表现并且足够稳定耐久,能够成功完成规则中列举的所有项目业余休闲赛车。密苏里大学哥伦比亚分校SAE巴哈赛车团队正在为下次比赛设计一款新赛车。为了帮助团队完成赛车设计与准备,我们组的主要设计任务为后刹车轮毂装配体。我们设计了三个初步待选轴毂方案,每个方案都满足后盘式制动器的安装和现有赛车框架的连接等条件。通过考虑与比较每个方案的加工可行性以及对每个方案进行的有限元分析,团队将选择一个最适合赛车的方案进行制造。后刹车毂最后是由6061-T6511铝制成的,可以成功安装北极星盘式制动器和嵌入现有的赛车框架中。

Abstract

The University of Missouri-Columbia Baja SAE team is designing a vehicle for the SAE Baja Series competition in April of 2016. The SAE Baja series is a competition that simulates real-world engineering challenges. Each team is responsible for designing and building a single-seat, all-terrain vehicle. The vehicle’s performance will be judged on several criteria: speed, handling, ride and ruggedness over off road conditions through dynamic competitions. In order to help prepare the car for competition our teams focus was the rear braking hub assembly. The team designed three preliminary hub concepts that would be able to install the rear disc brakes and compatible to connect to the existing frame. With machining constraints in mind and though FEA analysis, the team was able to decide on which would work best for the Baja vehicle. The final rear braking hub design is built from 6061-T6511 aluminum that is able to mount 2011 Polaris Outlaw disc brakes onto it and connects with the existing frame.
