Abstract

With the constant focus on safety, energy saving, environmental protection, automobile rear axle as the vehicle one of the key components, the quality of its products using the safety of the vehicle and the vehicle performance influence is very big, so to optimize the automobile rear axle design calculation is very necessary.

Drive axle as one of the four automobile assemblies, its performance has a direct impact on the performance of the vehicle, and is particularly important to the truck. When the high output torque is used to meet the high efficiency and high efficiency of the current heavy-duty truck, it must be equipped with an efficient and reliable drive axle. Therefore, the single-stage deceleration drive with high transmission efficiency has become the development direction of the future truck. Based on the design of the traditional drive axle, this paper carries out the design of the truck drive axle.

Firstly, the structure type and main design parameters of the main components are determined. Then, the overall design scheme is determined by referring to the structure of the drive axle. Finally, the strength of the main, driven bevel gear, differential cone planetary gear, half shaft gear, full floating axle and integral axle housing is checked. Through to the axle design and research, to deepen the theory of car design, car technology development direction and the understanding of the structure of the car to enter the social work in the automotive technology lay a solid foundation. Basic parameter design shall be carried out in accordance with the design theory, according to the theory of automobile structure, automobile and automobile design, on the basis of complete chassis parts structure design, and based on the computed parameters of surveying and mapping of the prototype structure.

The main reducer can be divided into single and double stages according to its deceleration form. Single stage through type main reducer has simple structure, small size, quality, and can make, most of the rear axle parts, especially the axle housing and half shaft has the advantages of interchangeability, now mainly used for light drive cars.
