摘 要

在这个互联网新时代，一切都是信息化和数字化的。数字化可以使生活变得轻松，准确。学生信息管理系统是一种让学生可以随时随地的通过他们的设备获取所有有效数据的系统，而且通过学生信息管理系统，学校可以更有条理地处理所有学生的信息，减少人力资源投入。

在之前互联网没有普及，SIMS使用范围不广的时候，学校和学生都需要经过一个漫长的过程来交换成绩，课程，假期等信息。一些特殊问题还需要经过很多部门，效率十分低下。之后，出现了一个非常原始的SIMS版本，如今SIMS的概念和功能无时无刻不在发展。在本课程设计中，建立了一个现代的SIMS。考虑到现代情况，增加了几个概念。构建这个系统过程中存在很多难点，例如如何提供更多的安全性并添加选项，例如如何发送消息给学生的手机等。

该系统是由XAMM，PHP，Java-Script，MySQL，HTML，CSS等技术设计而成。通过该系统，学校的学生可以选择课程，获取有关考试，假期和其他信息，还可以更新个人信息，最重要的是可以向其他的用户发送消息。这个项目的主要目标是运用软件工程知识来分析系统需求，数据结构，创建用户友好的界面和提供数据安全。总而言之，该项目的开发旨在增加学校和学生的数字信息管理系统的经验，减少人力物力的投入

ENGLISH ABSTRACT

In this new era of internet, everything is computerized and digitalized. Digitalization is not only making life easy but also errorless. Student Information Management System is that effective system by which students get their all the data from their devices sitting in any part of the world. And also a school can arrange all student’s information more organized and by less human resources.

A long time ago when the internet was not that much popular or SIMS was not available a school and students both needs to go through a long process for exchanging information like result, courses, vacation. Lots of department was needed for particular issues. After that a very primitive version of SIMS was appeared and now the concept and function of SIMS is developing every day. In this project a structure modern SIMS was created. A several concepts have been added considering the modern situation. There are lots of challenges to build this system such as providing more security and adding option like sending message to student’s cellphone.

This system was designed by the technology like XAMM, PHP, Java-Script, MySQL, HTML, CSS. Through this system a student of respected school can choose a course, get information about exams, vacations and other, update personal information and most importantly can get a message to his/her cellphone if needed. The prime goal of this project is to imply the knowledge of software engineering to analyze the system requirement, data structure, making a user friendly interface and providing safety of data.

Overall this project was developed to increase the school’s and student’s experience of digital information management system with ensuring less human efforts.

CHAPTER1 INTRODUCTION

Student information management system is an essential part of a modern educational organization. A well functional, simple and easy to use information management system can not only effectively reduce the work burden of school related staff, but its content is very important to the decision-makers and managers of the school. But student information management system should be able to provide with effective information and the capability of making things easy for its users. People have been using the very much old or traditional way to organized data or files which is not only manual but also time costing. This management method has many shortcomings, such as low efficiency, poor confidentiality, large waste of manpower, and a long time, which will produce a large number of documents and data, which has brought a lot of trouble to the search, update and maintenance. With the continuous improvement of science and technology, the computer science has become matured and its powerful function has been deeply recognized. It has entered the various fields of human society and plays a more and more important roll.

As a part of computer application, the use of computers to manage all kinds of information in schools has advantages that manual management cannot compare with. For example: quick search, convenient query, high efficiency, good reliability, large storage capacity, good secrecy, long life and low cost. The use of computer to manage student information can not only ensure accurate, unmistakable and rapid output, but also can use computer to inquire about information.
